BattView for Apple Watch

After almost a year of development, the Apple Watch version of BattView is now available.

  • Shows color coded % battery estimates for all devices in range
  • Learns which devices have batteries for faster updates in future.
  • Performs more comprehensive full scans to discover new devices that might have been missed.
  • Watch face complication for quick single press launching.

Support

FAQ

Q: Why can't I get battery levels from all my devices?

A: There are a couple of challenges:

  1. Many Bluetooth devices support only one connection at a time. It is best to run Battery Tests before opening any other apps. This lets GearView read battery levels before the respective devices are  connected to other apps.
  2. BattView supports Bluetooth devices that do not require secure pairing with a proprietary app. Devices like Garmin bike computers or Cycliq cameras will not report battery levels to a general purpose app like BattView.

I recently discovered that BattView works well after finishing a ride

I shut down all my apps like Zwift and Stages Cycling. This makes battery scans fast and easy.
